Loyalty & marketing
Regulars are cheaper than strangers.
PatronWorks keeps points, visits, and spend on the customer record your register already writes to — then gives you offers, coupons, email, and in-store QR campaigns to turn that count into another visit. No second subscription, no tablet by the till.
★One customer record across the counter and online ordering.
Most restaurant loyalty programs fail because they live somewhere else.
A separate loyalty app means a separate login, a separate customer list, and one more thing for a crew member to remember at the busiest moment of the night — so it quietly stops happening. PatronWorks puts loyalty where the sale already is: the guest gives a phone number, and the count takes care of itself.
How it works
Three steps, none of them yours.
They give a phone number
At the counter or online, a phone number is all it takes. That number is the customer's identity across the whole platform, so the same person is recognised whether they walk in, call, or order from the storefront.
The register keeps the count
Visits, purchases, points, and spend accumulate on their loyalty record as they order — no separate app for your crew to remember, no tablet by the till.
You give them a reason to come back
Turn the count into an offer, a coupon, or an email campaign — then watch last-visit dates move in the customer list.
What's inside
Everything loyalty covers.
A real loyalty record, not a punch card
Every customer carries a loyalty card record you can see and edit from the admin.
- Card number, card type, and start date
- Points, visits, purchases, and total spend
- Last visit date — so you can see who has gone quiet
- Credit limit and card expiry when you use them
- Free-form notes on the customer for the crew
Offers, coupons, and campaigns
The tools that turn the count into another visit, all in the same login as the POS.
- Loyalty offers tied to a product with a quantity — switch them on and off
- Coupons issued to a customer and redeemed at the register
- Email marketing to your customer list from the Marketing tab
- Beacon: in-store QR and NFC campaigns a guest taps for an offer
One customer, every channel
Because loyalty lives with the customer record rather than in a bolt-on, it follows the guest everywhere the platform touches them.
- Dine-in and counter sales rung on the POS
- Pickup and delivery from your online ordering storefront
- Order history and profile visible to whoever is serving them
- Gift card balances on the same customer — see the gift cards page
Beacon: the table tent that does something
Put a QR code or NFC tag on a table, a window, or the bottom of a receipt. A guest taps it, gets the offer, and the tap is recorded against the campaign — so an in-room promotion finally has a number attached to it.
Questions, answered.
Is restaurant loyalty an extra subscription?
No. Loyalty, coupons, marketing, and Beacon campaigns are part of the PatronWorks platform — they sit under the Customers group in the same admin as your POS, inventory, and payroll.
How does a customer join the loyalty program?
With a phone number. PatronWorks treats the phone number as the customer's canonical identity, so a guest who ordered online and a guest who walks up to the counter resolve to the same record without your crew doing anything clever.
Does loyalty work with online ordering?
Yes — the storefront and the register share one customer list, so a pickup or delivery order counts the same as a walk-in.
Can I run offers on specific menu items?
Yes. Loyalty offers attach to a product with a quantity and a description, and can be activated or deactivated without touching the menu.
What about in-store promotions?
Beacon lets you put a QR code or NFC tag in the room — on a table tent, a window, or a receipt — that a guest taps to pull up an offer, with the taps recorded as campaign events.
